Description | The Delhi government plans to construct a nearly 5-km-long two-lane road from Aali Vihar to Mathura Road to ease congestion at Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj. The project includes three roads: Aali Vihar to Lal Shiv Mandir (0.40 km), Lal Shiv Mandir to Road no 13A (1.70 km), and a 2.4-km road from Pocket D Sarita Vihar to Aali Village and Aali Vihar to Mathura Road. The project aims to improve connectivity to Noida, Sarita Vihar, and other parts of South Delhi, and decongest the Ashram-Aali corridor and Kalindi Kunj junction. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highway has sanctioned Rs 38.03 crore for the construction under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund. A feasibility study is planned before sanction approval. The project will integrate with the Madanpur Khadar Bridge and upcoming highways, enhancing regional connectivity. |
