Description | The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is extending National Highway 13 to remote Tato in Shi-Yomi district, Arunachal Pradesh. The project includes double-laning of the 32-km Pene-Tato stretch on the Aalo-Mechuka road, construction of 14 bridges along the Tato-Mechuka stretch, and work on the 12-km Yarlung-Trijunction road including a 140ft steel modular bridge. The 16-km Yarlung-Lamang road has been completed, and the DPR for the 14-km Lamang-Lola road is under preparation. The roads will provide connectivity to army and ITBP in forward areas. |
