The technology uses an electrochemical process that reduces chemical agent usage and operational costs compared to conventional methods. It will be integrated into ABTC's critical mineral recycling facilities and its claystone-to-lithium hydroxide refinery near Tonopah, Nevada. The partnership leverages Argonne's Advanced Photon Source particle accelerator and Aurora Exascale Supercomputer for advanced imaging and characterization to support commercialization and long-term performance modeling. |
