Description

Description

Rehabilitation and repair of the Aberdeen Hospital building systems including: A. Medical air system compressor & control panels, B. Laundry electrical service rewiring, C. Water distribution system piping, valves and filters. Scope of Work: Replacement of beyond life-cycle medical air core mechanical and electrical components; Replace overloaded and out-dated electrical system, Replace/rejuvenate selected domestic water services to clinical areas. Project Objectives: eliminate safety risk to patients provided medical air; mitigate fire safety risk caused by electrical overloading of obsolete electrical service in the heavily used laundry area; and mitigate particle contamination of deteriorating water lines and associated filtering system. Reduce risk of valve failure (hence flooding) of clinical spaces.
