The Raymond Field is the only outdoor, artificial turf playing field in the Annapolis Valley and is well used by community members, students and is the primary venue for a significant number of varsity and community sporting events. The current turf at the Raymond Field has reached the end of its useful life and a new turf is required. The project will include the removal and disposal of the existing turf, grading & surveying the structural base, installation of the new turf as well as appurtenances required for the operation and maintenance of the new turf. The proposed upgrades will create a safer, more attractive environment for students, community users and external event organizers. These upgrades will also contribute to regional prosperity by attracting major events.
