Accelerating European Ukrainian Clusters Partnership in Health

"The EU-Ukraine Partnership of clusters ""Clusters4Health"", comprising a strong consortium formed by 6 European clusters, 1 Ukrainian cluster and 1 NGO acting on behalf of RIMC Ukrainian cluster, is aiming to support the business collaboration between the EU, Ukraine and beyond as the consortium has an Norwegian partner, fostering regional economic growth, development, and stronger ties between economic actors and communities in the healthcare sector. The 24 months project is designing a complex and interlinked set of 6 work packages dedicated to supporting the recovery of medical ecosystem from Ukraine, ecosystem which has been heavily affected by the current war situation. The envisaged outcomes of the project will be achieved by enhancing the resilience and competitiveness of the Ukrainian healthcare sector though 4 mapped disrupted value chains and supporting the development or update of 8 medical cluster strategies, strengthening the capacity and support services of the Ukrainian medical clusters by establishing 1 European Ukrainian Clusters Accelerator Lab as a collaborative framework by organising 10 training & mentoring sessions and implementing 5 mobility schemes, facilitating the Ukrainian health tech startups growth and access to investments through 1 startup acceleration programme, matchmaking and pitching events, connecting European and Ukrainian ecosystem through 1 comprehensive Joint Europe-Ukraine Roadmap for a Resilient and Smart Health EcoSystem, facilitating the generation of collaborative projects through 5 ideathons workshops, and establishing 1 portfolio of joint projects. The project will ultimately drive the alignment of Ukrainian clusters and their ecosystem towards state-of-the art development and technology generation and adoption to rebuild UA's innovation industrial ecosystems and reduce the divide across Europe, by 2027."
