Description | The project will include the following: - Improve overall access to and from transit - Improve accessibility to transit for passengers with mobility challenges - Remove barriers to accessing conventional transit - Upgrade intersection sidewalk ramps within 450m of bus routes to be AODA compliant with proper grades and tactile plates - Replace sidewalks that are not accessible due to poor condition - Address tripping hazards on sidewalks and other barriers to accessibility - Sidewalk ramps at up to 60 intersections upgraded to be AODA compliant - 500m of sidewalk replacement - Remove 2000 tripping hazardsades and tactile plates |
