Description | ACME Solar Holdings Limited plans to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 10 GW of generation capacity and 20 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) capacity by 2030. The company has committed a total capex of approximately ₹12,475 crore in FY26, with ₹6,445 crore already incurred towards new capacity commissioning and ₹6,030 crore in purchase orders for future projects. It has commissioned one of India's largest BESS capacities of about 2.32 GWh as of May 7, 2026, and aims to reach a BESS portfolio capacity of around 10 GWh with over 13 GWh approved under Right of First Refusal. The operational capacity reached 2,990 MW, with an under-construction portfolio of 5,081 MW. The company has secured over ₹15,000 crore in debt for under-construction projects and refinancing of ₹3,300 crore for operational projects, achieving a credit rating of AA-/Stable for 2.2 GW of operational projects. |
