Cherry Pickers Filmdistributie België strives to discover unique gems from the international film world and bring them to the Belgium and Luxembourg audience. We primarily focus on European arthouse films and documentaries. We release approximately 12 films per year, with a particular emphasis on the mid-range segment of arthouse cinema. At the same time, we always look for titles that we believe can attract a sufficiently large audience to justify a serious theatrical release from a commercial perspective. As our company is dedicated to releasing European arthouse films, the Media automatic scheme is the perfect opportunity to strengthen our marketing- and publicity campaigns. Because of the support from Media, our company gets to set bigger goals for the future. We hope to keep growing as a business and be able to have bigger releases in Belgian and Luxembourg cinemas, which we are certain we can do because of the Media Automatic scheme. With each release, we strive to bring the magic of European filmmaking to the BELUX audience, cherishing the unique perspectives, storytelling techniques and cultural details that European cinema embodies.
