Description | The Acrisure Amphitheater is a new 12,000-capacity high-tech riverfront entertainment venue in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The project transformed 201 Market Ave. SW from old Department of Public Works buildings into a modern amphitheater over 24 months. It features 7,000 fixed seats, lawn seating for 5,000 people, a 60,000 square-foot canopy covering the stage and most fixed seating, eight artist dressing rooms with unique Michigan-themed designs, a staff cafeteria, artist lounge with rooftop plaza, and multiple food and beverage locations around the perimeter. The venue aims to attract national acts and revitalize the Grand River area south of downtown. |
