Description | Activ Solar GmbH, registered in Austria, was planning the development of the 43.8MW Limanskaya solar plant. The project consisted of 181,192 solar PV modules (crystalline), ground mounted, single row on 79.4 hectares of land. The project was commissioned in March 2013, but listed here as under development as no financial closure information was available and the project was not commissioned before 2013. Ukraine maintained a feed-in tariff of UAH4.8 (US$0.58) for solar plants in until 2012, when it was cut to UAH 3.5 (US$0.43). The price is guaranteed until 2030. The tariff is paid in UAH, but guaranteed against a fixed EUR amount (pegged), to absorb currency risk. The national utility is named Electricity Company Ukraine. No financial details were available.
