Description | Activ Solar GmbH, registered in Austria, was planning the development of the 54.8MW Priozernaya solar plant. The project consisted of 227,744 solar PV modules (crystalline), ground mounted, four row on 100 hectares of land. The project was commissioned in March 2013, but reported as under development here as no financial closure date was available and commissioning date was >2012. Ukraine maintained a feed-in tariff of UAH4.8 (US$0.58) for solar plants in until 2012, when it was cut to UAH 3.5 (US$0.43). The price is guaranteed until 2030. The tariff is paid in UAH, but guaranteed against a fixed EUR amount (pegged), to absorb currency risk. The national utility is named Electricity Company Ukraine. No financial details were available.
