ACTivAGE project is designed to foster physical activity, environmental awareness, and social inclusion across European countries by leveraging the natural beauty and resources of Northern Pindos National Park in Greece, Troodos National Park in Cyprus, and Forêts National Park in France. The project aims to engage diverse age groups in a series of camping camps that promote healthy living and environmental stewardship. ACTivAGE activities are tailored to cater to different age groups, ensuring broad participation and engagement. For children, traditional games camps offer a blend of physical activity and cultural learning. Youth participants will explore the outdoors through orienteering camps, developing navigation skills and environmental consciousness. For adults, yoga camps provide a serene and revitalizing experience, promoting physical well-being and mental health in the midst of nature. At its core, the ACTivAGE project is about bringing people together to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors while learning valuable skills and fostering a sense of community. Through this initiative, participants will not only benefit from physical activities but also gain an increased awareness of the importance of preserving our natural environment for future generations.
