Description

Description

Vision The vision of the project is to integrate physical activity and active life habits as part of the family's daily routine to improve the family's wellbeing. Active families are the key to a healthy lifestyle. The project is intended for families and families with physically challenged members who we want to encourage to accept sports activities and include them in their daily lives. By exercising together, all family members can improve their health and wellbeing. The objectives of the project are: 1. To encourage families to adopt sports exercises as a lifetime activity. 2. To contribute to improving every individual's quality of life and health. 3. To encourage healthy lifestyles among participants. Our solution We will be going to implement the following activities: 1. Research on the desk on the existing experiences for adapting sports for families and people with disabilities. 2. Based on this data, we develop the content of the guidelines. 3. Partners will send 4 sports trainers or PE teachers for the workshop in Skopje. 4. Feedback from the workshop will be used to improve the guidelines and get the final version. 5. A video collection of exercises for families' outdoor workouts. The collection includes exercises for people with disabilities. 6. Every partner will have one promotional event in the local environment Expected results 1. Developed guidelines for Adapting sports for families and families affected with disability 2. Nano-learning video collection of exercises 3. Active Families non-competitive challenge for better engagement Impact on families The project will significantly impact the participants by empowering them to feel more confident and motivated to lead healthier lifestyles. We anticipate emotional connections and wellbeing within the family to be strengthened. The project will also contribute to social inclusion by providing opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in physical activity and interact with others.
