"When we started 13 years ago, our controversial documentary “Uncle Tony, Three Fools and the Secret Service” set Bulgaria on fire and put us on the international radar. The next political documentary brought us the nickname “The Demonic Duo”. We’re drawn to topics with a strong cause, something the audience cares about. Done with a cinematic style that breathes freedom. We were lucky that our equally subversive two fiction films achieved Locarno’19 and Cannes official’21 selections. With these three new projects we’re hoping again to be able to gently shift public opinion.  “Womaniser” is a comical take on a current trend among British teenagers obsessed with cancel culture, #metoo #blacklivesmatter, ecological and anti-capitalist movements. They’re cancelling out on everything even on their closest friend. But he will manage to catch them out and be the girls’ favourite again. An authentic study of class, inter-racial, and sexual tensions, led by a “barbarian” main character from eastern Europe.  “Fabric” is an ambitious epic in an early stage of development, partly set in the past time period.  An unusual love story of such magnitude that it managed to open up the Forbidden city for westerners and bring fashion labels into China. In this powerful female driven story we witness two major revolutions – European culture entering China and the work of an artist from the East being embraced by top fashion designers. “mAther” tackles a gender issue in Bulgaria where this is timidly swept under the carpet.  Andrea 30, is an overweight gender fluid woman who wishes to have a child but is not at ease with her femininity. Being a mother does not come naturally as Andrea doesn’t want to be a woman or a man. She wants to be referred to as “it”. Mather stands for a combination between the words Mother and Father. "
