Description | The 82.5MW Adams Solar PV 2 reached financial closure, as Enel began construction in March 2015. This BOO project estimated at US$109.6 million (based on 82.5 MW Paleisheuwel) would entail the development of solar pv power plant, located near Hotazel, Northern Cape. It was a part of Window 3 of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) by Department of Energy (DoE). The project company was Adams Solar PV Project Two Pty Ltd composed of Hotazel Community Trust (10%), Lisinfo245 Investments (Pty) Ltd (30%, wholly owned by Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust) EGP SA BV(60%, wholly owned by EGP SPA).
