Adgaon Old Truck Terminus Redevelopment PPP Project

The project involves the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) partnering with a private developer to build a modern truck terminus at Adgaon in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.With an estimated cost of ₹150 crore (US$16 million), the facility will be developed on around 30 acres and designed to function as a comprehensive logistics hub rather than just a parking space. It will include dedicated parking for hundreds of trucks along with warehousing, loading and unloading zones, repair workshops, weighbridges, and commercial spaces such as offices, shops, and motels. The project also plans essential amenities for drivers like dormitories, sanitation facilities, and medical services. Implemented on a design-build-operate-maintain (DBOM) basis, the private agency will manage the terminus for about 30 years while paying an annual royalty to the civic body, with the broader aim of easing congestion within the city and improving freight movement efficiency.
