Adriatic-Ionian Highway Construction

planned

The Adriatic-Ionian Highway is an international transit route connecting Central Europe with Greece via Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Albania. The Ministry of Spatial Planning has issued urban planning and technical conditions for Monteput for the construction of the highway. The project involves several phases including approval of conceptual design, preparation and revision of the main design, selection of contractor and supervision, building permit, and finally the start of construction. The Montenegrin section is divided into three parts, passing through multiple cadastral municipalities and requiring special attention to cultural heritage and environmental protection.
