Adult Education Survey (AES) 2022 - Statistical infrastructure under IESS

The project aims at supporting implementation of Adult Education Survey (AES) in order to be compliant with the legal provisions as set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“IESS framework regulation”) and its related implementing regulations. In particular, at ensuring the quality of the survey through methodological work in preparation of the fieldwork of the 2022 AES. The planned field work period for AES is from 1 September 2022 till 15 January 2023. The Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSB) plans to carry out following activities - methodological work on sampling design, develop methods to reduce non-response (communication activities), training of interviewers, methodological work on weighting system, development of questionnaire and interviewer’s handbook; preparation of electronic computer/ web-based questionnaire.
