Description

Description

The project aims at establishing a working space for the achievement of three priority issues: • Develop actions to improve the participation of adults in learning activities to reach the 60% target by 2030, especially those with lower levels of basic skills. For this purpose, the main objective will be based on the implementation of the recently published Royal Decree on the Evaluation and Accreditation of Basic Competences Acquired through Work Experience, Non-formal and Informal Learning. • Improve the dissemination of the training activities available and the possibilities of using accessible and flexible training opportunities for this population. • Ensure quality, equity, inclusion and success in adult learning through planned actions. The project aligns with the 2016 Council Recommendation on Upskilling Pathways: new opportunities for adults, the 2012 Resolution on the Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning and the 2021 Council Resolution on a New European Agenda for Adult Learning. It also specifically supports the Union of Skills, focusing on the acquisition of basic skills among the adult population who have dropped out of education without qualifications and the importance of being able to reach out to the most vulnerable in society in general. The project maintains a broad vision on alternative ways to facilitate the inclusion of those people who are disengaged from the formal education system, empowering them to re-enter a formal, non-formal or informal system, which enables them to improve their employability and their adaptation to a continuously changing labour market. The collaboration and exchange of good practices at European, national and regional level is envisaged, involving in this task associations, entities and organisations linked to work with people who have particular difficulties with training and employment and who are at risk.
