The project will study and characterize new materials for the construction of blocks of prefabricated tunnels, in order to limit, at an affordable cost, damage, in the mantle structure of road and rail tunnels, fire and / or explosion, events often mortal and in any case causing serious structural damage. We will investigate theoretical fibroarmati experimental materials and composite structures for the development of ties blocks to make them suitable to withstand high temperatures and pressure waves. the part experiment will be carried out by the laboratory at SUPSI Dynamat Canobbio, with the construction of specific equipment at the Polo Regionale di Lecco Polimi and some of the test small-scale tests of the fire brigade at the camp in Bovisio. Speakers include the Province of Lecco, 4 and 3 Swiss Italian private partners.
