Advanced digital skills programme Artificial Intelligence and Health

The progress achieved in the last years in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for health demonstrates a growing demand for training from the Health care practitioners and every stakeholder involved in biomedical research. In this context, 5 different types of training are offered as part of the Advanced Digital Skills program AI and Health. 1) A “classical” teaching program is given for more than 150 students. It is composed by a common curriculum between Aix-Marseille Université, Università di Pisa, Stockholm University and Universitat Autonoma di Barcelona. Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest and the University of Bucharest are associated to the joint curriculum. Each partner proposes a specialty in Master 2: AI and biomarker (Marseille), AI and medical technologies (Pisa), AI and Big Data (Barcelona), AI and Health Informatics, Decision analysis and Data Science (Stockholm). After completing successfully the program, the student will receive a double-degree. 2) 2 MOOCS in complement and synergy with the existing Master’s teaching units are accessible in the e-learning platform at SU. The successful achievement will result in the delivery of digital certification. 3) Workshops on digital technologies are offered to students and advanced learners. It corresponds to hours of practice using the available resources and equipment in the labs and departments at Pisa and Marseille. 4) 3 short-term standard and customized courses for professionals are created under the lead of INRIA. It is provided by trainers representing academic, research institutions and industry clusters working on technological transfer for industry (triangle of knowledge). 5) For the EU digital skills and jobs platform, recorded conferences are put at the disposal of general public, available in 4 different EU languages for a larger dissemination. INRIA, 3IA Côte d'Azur and 3 Italian SMEs and start-ups Kode s.r.l.,GenomeUp s.r.l. and IngeniArs will directly participate in the teaching and training of the program.
