Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) Project

India has initiated the process to develop a fifth generation stealth fighter jet called the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). The project involves building five prototypes of this medium weight deep penetration fighter jet with advanced stealth features to enhance India's air power. The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from Indian companies capable of developing the prototypes and setting up manufacturing facilities for series production. The contract duration for development, prototyping, flight testing, and certification is not to exceed eight years from the contract's effective date.
