Description

Description

China plans to export advanced underwater robots capable of locating buried subsea cables to offshore engineering markets across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. The robots detect subsea cables buried beneath sediment with high accuracy and can rebury exposed cables to protect them from environmental damage. They operate continuously at depths up to 300 meters and maintain stability in strong ocean currents. The technology has been deployed in domestic projects and is being further developed for deeper cable detection and real-time 3D imaging.
