Description
Description | The ASAM-C project addresses the growing need to train professionals capable of managing the integration of artificial intelligence in an ethical and sustainable manner. As AI technologies become more widespread, the role of the Sustainable AI Manager is emerging as a key figure who balances technological innovation with environmental, ethical, and social standards while aligning AI deployment with corporate strategies. With a duration of 36 months, the project aims to develop advanced curricula for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), bridging the gap between technical skills, sustainability, and responsible AI governance. The project seeks to establish a comprehensive, market-aligned academic curriculum designed to train experts in EdTech and sustainable AI. At the same time, it aims to enhance the educational programs of Sub-Saharan HEIs by aligning them with advanced academic standards adopted by European partner institutions. Another key objective is to support academic research by fostering the integration of partner universities into international research networks, encouraging new research lines, and promoting strategic collaborations. Additionally, the initiative focuses on strengthening the technological infrastructure of participating institutions to enhance their educational capacity and the quality of the learning experience. By promoting sustainable AI practices, the project will contribute to the development of professionals who can address the ethical, environmental, and social challenges of the digital era. It will also reinforce the role of universities in preparing key figures for the future job market, ensuring that graduates are equipped with interdisciplinary skills that meet the demands of an evolving labor landscape. |
