Advancing Competency Measurement for EUROGRADUATE

This project aims to develop and test an improved instrument for measuring graduate competencies in the context of the EUROGRADUATE 2026 survey. The primary aim is to evaluate whether a more effective competency measurement tool can be developed or if existing instruments, such as the REFLEX questionnaire, remain the most appropriate choices. To achieve this, the project will leverage the expertise of four partners with substantial knowledge in the field, exploring new methodological approaches that focus on refining assessment techniques and ensuring the instrument’s validity and applicability across different national contexts. By emphasizing international comparability, this project seeks to develop an instrument that is not only methodologically robust but also adaptable to diverse higher education systems. Through a transnational collaborative approach, it will contribute to the broader European effort to enhance graduate tracking methodologies, providing insights that will inform the EUROGRADUATE 2026 survey and support future research on competency assessment in higher education.
