The proposed technical assistance (TA) aims to strengthen the capacity of the governments of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Palau, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) to effectively implement and manage Asian Development Bank (ADB) support. The TA will deliver knowledge products, capacity building initiatives, and advisory services to support strategic planning in these countries. The TA will respond to the specific demands of the three North Pacific developing member countries (DMCs) for (i) increased flexibility, to adapt to evolving contexts and address unexpected needs; (ii) immediate responsiveness, to quickly respond to urgent project design, management, supervision needs; and (iii) enhanced ownership, to empower countries to prioritize their needs and take proactive steps to ensure effective project preparation and implementation.
