Aerotech Telecomunicacoes Ltda provides local and long-distance telephone services in the States of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Aerotech received licenses to operate in the regions where one of the mirror companies are not delivering services. Aerotech is one of the so-called "espelhinhos" (small-mirrors). Aerotech was initially authorized to deliver local services to one city in the state of Rio de Janeiro and to four cities in the state of Sao Paulo. In 2002, it was granted permission to start long-distance services in the cities where it had been operational. Also, in 2002, it was authorized to expand its services to other cities in the state of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In 2003, Aerotech was authorized to deliver local and long-distance services in Region III, and in the some broader areas in some areas in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Parana, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. In September 2003, Aerotech started operating in two cities in the state of Sao Paulo (the capital and Brodosqui). None None
