Description | This project involves the expansion of the AGP City Gas supply network in India. The sponsor is the AGP City Gas Private Limited from India. Project works will enhance the development and operation capabilities of the city gas distribution (CGD) network in India. The Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (Daigas) and Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development (JOIN) are direct investors in the AGP City Gas Private Limited business endeavors in India. The total project cost is $94m (JPY13.5 billion) and it will be provided with a loan from the MUFG Bank, Ltd, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). JBIC's portion is $56m (JPY8.1bn) and they also provided a guarantee for the portion co-financed by the private financial institutions.
