Description

Description

The program aims to provide subordinated loans to private Georgian financial institutions, which will use these funds to lend to micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises (with income from production, processing or marketing of agricultural products and livestock farming). The sustainable quantitative and qualitative expansion of agricultural credit is intended to contribute to the economic development and increase the income of agricultural MSMEs. At the same time, a contribution is to be made to food security for the poorer Georgian and regional population and the broadening and deepening of the Georgian financial system is to be supported. The objectives are to be achieved by investing FC trust funds amounting to EUR 5.0 million (Phase II) in suitable and interested financial institutions.
