Based on the experience of “AgriNet” projects (2016-2021), this new proposal intends to mitigate misperceptions and disinformation about European agriculture and the New CAP on farmers and Italian citizens as well as to reduce an old stereotype and perception of the children about the figure of the farmer and the functioning of the agriculture and rural world nowadays. To combat these problems, the main priority of the project AGRINET4EDUCATION is “reduce the GAP between Italians and Europeans on European agriculture and New CAP approach with special focus on raising awareness on current agriculture and rural life for Italian children and citizens”. The specific objectives are focused on: -Updating of the new CAP information and opportunities; -Dissemination of farmers experience on facing challenges (climate change, agritech, etc); -Educating Italian children to make them closer to the 9 New PAC objectives, and the current rural reality with a sustainable and healthy way of life connected with environmental awareness. Agri4Edu will develop the following actions: 1) A TV PROGRAMME with 09 episodes broadcast on the Italian national TV channel TV2000 and Corallo national network. 2) A RADIO PROGRAMME with 09 episodes and podcasts to tell experiences of sustainable consumption and farm to fork initiatives. 3) A TOOLKIT FOR SCHOOL with a set of didactic material and resources to assist teachers in teaching about PAC, climate changes, sustainability, and biodiversity, the figure of the farmer, and their current rural context. Agri4Edu is based on a strong network of diverse entities conducted by Iniziative Editoriali (tv), which is part of a tv and radio network (RETEBLU, CORALLO, and COAP). The partnership also includes I.Di.Med; RadUni; ANGA; Zaffiria; APS; IUAV; IC Giulio Cesare.
