Agristo Grand Forks Potato Processing Facility

under construction

Agristo, a Belgium-based potato processing company, is constructing its first U.S. potato processing facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The project involves a state-of-the-art plant that will process 1.1 billion pounds of potatoes annually and produce 550 million pounds of finished potato products. The facility is a major food processing investment in the region, with a total investment exceeding $1 billion. Construction began with site preparation in September 2025, and the plant targets processing the 2029 potato harvest. The project will create over 300 direct jobs and have a significant economic impact on the region.
