Description | "This project focuses on expanding and improving the water supply system in the Sertão Agreste region of Alagoas state, Brazil. The Brazilian water and sanitation company Águas do Sertão, controlled by Conasa, has successfully secured $222.07 million (R$1.1 billion). These funds will be used to expand the water supply network and\ to achieve 100% water coverage by 2027 and increase sewage coverage from 12% to 90% by 2033. The debenture issue, rated AA- by Moody's and Fitch, has a 20-year term. The debenture issuance was coordinated by BTG Pactual (lead coordinator), Banco Santander, and Itaú BBA.
