Description

Description

The SmartPlay project is designed to revolutionize dropout prevention in female adolescent sports participation by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into innovative training methodologies. Recognizing the growing issue of girls disengaging from sports during adolescence, the project seeks to develop and implement AI-powered solutions that enhance coaching strategies, athlete motivation, and personalized engagement approaches. By leveraging AI-driven analytics, SmartPlay will support the sharing and scaling of best practices, engaging new partners, sports organizations, and stakeholders across Europe. This initiative will serve as a foundation for knowledge exchange, upskilling of coaches and practitioners, and the creation of effective AI-based interventions aimed at preventing female dropout from sports. The SmartPlay project combines artificial intelligence, sports psychology, and digital tools to create innovative, evidence-based strategies for preventing dropout among female adolescent athletes. Through a multifaceted approach, the project will equip coaches, trainers, and athletes with AI-driven insights, tailored intervention methods, and personalized engagement techniques to sustain participation in sports. Specific objectives of the project: -Development of an AI-powered training methodology designed to detect early indicators of dropout risk and personalize interventions for young female athletes. -Empowering coaches and sport clubs with AI-enhanced tools and resources, ensuring they have the data-driven insights needed to support at-risk athletes. -Providing female adolescent athletes with personalized, technology-driven support, equipping them with the motivation, skills, and strategies to maintain long-term participation in sports. -Strengthening cross-border collaboration by establishing a European network of sport organizations focused on AI-driven dropout prevention strategies.
