Pre-Design

Replacement of the Air Guard Well in Stead was necessary to reduce sanding and provide additional capacity to the Stead system. The new/replacement well was drilled and constructed in FY 2016. Test pumping indicates the new well will have a capacity of about 2,500 gallons per minute which is twice the capacity of the old well. The pumping facilities are scheduled for construction in FY 2023
