Description

The ARMO project continues on from the successful partnership INTERREG II project ""Air Rives-Manche Sensibilisation"" and will concentrate on ozone (O3) pollution and its impacts on health of populations and vegetation across the regions. There are two main areas of work : understanding ozone pollution and information, and within these areas of work will be the main project objectives : 1. Review and assess the ozone concentrations, to increase our knowledge on the formation and distribution of ozone across the regions. 2. Explore the health and ecological/agricultural impacts of ozone pollution within the regions. 3. To provide mixed media information to the public, raise awareness and improve the forecasting of ozone pollution incidents.
