Airbus A320 Software Update and Recall

under recall

Airbus is ordering an immediate software update for about 6,000 A320 family jets due to a flight control data corruption issue caused by intense solar radiation. This recall follows an incident involving a JetBlue flight that experienced a flight control problem and emergency landing. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency will issue an emergency airworthiness directive. The recall will cause operational disruptions, including brief groundings and hardware changes for some jets, leading to weeks out of service.
