Description

The Airside D terminal is a new $1.5 billion airside terminal at Tampa International Airport, designed to be the first new airside terminal in 20 years. The 600,015-square-foot facility will have 16 gates and serve as an international terminal. The design-build team includes Hensel Phelps, HNTB, and Gensler. The project is themed 'Tranquil Tampa' and incorporates digital elements reflecting the natural water of the region. Delta Air Lines will be the anchor tenant, occupying at least six gates and operating one of the two lounges on the mezzanine level. Construction is expected to be complete in 2028.
