This project involves the construction of approximately 550 meters of new 200mm sanitary sewer main in the Rural Municipality of Wellington, Prince Edward Island. The proposed sewer main will extend north from existing sewer on Riverside Drive to service a future 23 lot subdivision. The new sewer main will be complete with manholes and service laterals which will allow up to 23 residential residents to be serviced by the Municipality in the future. Providing service to future residents will eliminate the requirement for private septic systems ensuring the Municipality will be able to continue manage the wastewater being released into the environment. The new sewage conveyance system will protect the groundwater table within the Municipality and ensure the Municipality is not increasing its impact on the environment.
