Description | Development of a nearly 150,000 square foot advanced manufacturing site by Uzbekistan-based AKFA Aluminum Solutions in the Kentucky Transpark. The facility will focus on producing aluminum extrusion profiles for trailers, automotive industries, windows and door systems, and solar panels, with production capabilities in more than 600 sectors. The project includes a $79 million investment in its first phase and plans to create more than 300 jobs, with operations expected to start in July 2027. |
