AKRC ICIP Student Internet Connectivity Project

The project will enhance schools and internet connectivity in 5 indigenous communities and provide secure internet connectivity to allow students to attend school remotely and provide access to online mental health supports. The work will involve purchasing and installing of smartboards and video conferencing equipment to support remote learning and student engagement, internet connectivity kits, and physical firewalls in five First Nations communities, which will provide access to low-earth orbiting satellites and support secure access to school websites and cyber-security protections.
