Description
Description | Kendall County commissioners updated the agreement with the Alamo Area Council of Governments to continue providing transportation services through the Alamo Regional Transit program. The program serves 12 rural counties around San Antonio, offering rides for seniors, medical trips, event outings, and other uses. The contract extension is for an additional year with a cost of $8,000. Recent funding cuts have caused service delays, but the county, city of Boerne, and AACOG are working to maintain services throughout the year. Commissioners will consider budgeting for additional services in the next budget cycle. |
