Alaska LNG Facility

Glenfarne's Alaska LNG project includes a 739-mile, 42-inch pipeline to be constructed in four sections with potential tie-backs to existing midstream infrastructure. The project faces construction challenges due to a narrow construction window caused by warming climate and thawing ground. Phase II will add coastal infrastructure capable of producing 20 million metric tons per annum for potential exports to Asia. Japanese companies JERA and Tokyo Gas have secured offtake agreements, and Australian company Worley will provide EPCM services for Phase I development.
