Alaska LNG Project

The Alaska LNG project is a proposed liquefied natural gas export plan that involves moving North Slope gas down an approximately 800-mile pipeline to a liquefaction terminal for export to Asian customers. The project is planned to be built in two phases, with Phase One focusing on a large diameter pipeline to meet Alaska's domestic energy needs, and a later phase adding the LNG terminal and related infrastructure targeting 20 million tonnes per annum of export capacity. The project has commercial momentum with agreements signed with major companies and is expected to reach a final investment decision in late 2026.
