Alaugas is the regional gas distributor for Pavlodar with charter capital of Tenge 669,490. Shareholders are the Kazakh state (51%), employees (10%), Butya-Capital (10%), Rost-Fond-Kramds (10%), Vash-Vybor (10%) and Irtysh-Invest (10%). All private stakes were acquired at coupon auctions on July 15, 1994. All private stakes were acquired via coupon auctions in 1994 in which the government raised divestiture revenues for US$5,674 (Tenge 307,870). As of 2000, KazTransGaz (KTG), a subsidiary of KazMunayGas, Kazakstan's national oil and gas company, was set up to maintain, manage and operate the entire gas distribution network in Kazakhstan. Consequently, there were no private sponsors that owned or managed the gas distribution network, since KTG was the sole owner of the network. Also, as of 2000, Alaugas was no longer listed on the Kazakh Stock Exchangce (KASE)
