The regional gas supplier for Arkalyk with charter capital of Tenge 1,648,440. Shareholders were the Turksib Nompany (51%), employees (10%), Servis-Invest (10%), Silikat-Investestizionnyi (9%) by December 1997. All private stakes were acquired at coupon auctions on September 13, 1994. The divestiture revenues raised by the government in those coupons auctions were US$3,000 (Tenge 168,000). In addition, a 51% stake was sold for undisclosured amount to unknown investors in March 1997. As of 2000, KazTransGaz (KTG), a subsidiary of KazMunayGas, Kazakstan's national oil and gas company, was set up to maintain, manage and operate the entire gas distribution network in Kazakhstan. Consequently, there were no private sponsors that owned or managed the gas distribution network, since KTG was the sole owner of the network.
