Description | A sovereign loan of up to EUR 36.87 to the Republic of Albania for the benefit of the Albanian Railways ("HSH" or the "Company"). The loan will finance: i) the rehabilitation and upgrade of 34.7 km railway line between the Tirana Public Transport Terminal (PTT) and the city of Durres and ii) the construction of a 5.4 km railway line between the Tirana PTT and the Tirana International Airport (TIA). The proceeds of the Bank's loan will be used to co-finance the construction works. An increase by up to EUR 40.7 million of the existing sovereign loan in favour of the Republic of Albania, to finance: i) the construction of approximately eight stations and stops along the TiranaiDurres railway line and along the new rail connection to the Tirana International Airport. ii) cost increases resulting from price adjustments and design improvements; iii) additional works supervision services. |
