The Albatroz Vortex is Brazil's first military drone equipped with a 100% national jet turbine, developed in partnership between the Brazilian Air Force, Stella Tecnologia, and AERO CONCEPTS. It has a flight autonomy of 24 hours, can carry up to 150 kilograms of payload, and operates from short runways including aircraft carrier decks. The turbine, ATJR15-5, is manufactured in São José dos Campos

Description | The Albatroz Vortex is Brazil's first military drone equipped with a 100% national jet turbine, developed in partnership between the Brazilian Air Force, Stella Tecnologia, and AERO CONCEPTS. It has a flight autonomy of 24 hours, can carry up to 150 kilograms of payload, and operates from short runways including aircraft carrier decks. The turbine, ATJR15-5, is manufactured in São José dos Campos and generates 500 Newtons of thrust, placing Brazil among a select group of countries capable of producing jet engines for military drones. |
