The Alberta Family and Senior Care Facilities Rehabilitation - Bundle 5 - Remote Project (the Project) includes the following project scope which are located within Hardisty, Hanna, Faust, High Prairie, Kinuso, Wainwright, St. Paul, Berwyn, Grimshaw, Manning, Peace River, and Edson: • Suite renewals at five sites which include the improvement of accessibility via the installation of bathroom rails, widening doorways and hallways, and replacement cabinets where applicable to increase safety and user comfort. Other improvements include replacement of bathroom, bedroom and living/kitchen fixtures and finishes as required which could also cover replacing sinks, countertops, cabinets, shower stalls, toilets, lights, flooring and repainting the suite; • Rehabilitation of the building exteriors at two sites which include the replacement of siding, steps ,ad ground repairs; • A fire alarm system replacement at one site; • Interior plumbing replacements at five sites which include the replacement of domestic water lines, main and sump pumps; and • Roof replacement including shingles, eavestroughs, and downspouts at nine sites. As per the November 30, 2023 project change, the description will be modified to account for modifications to the numbers of facility rehabilitation works, and remove Fahler, Cereal and Fort Chipewyan as locations.
