Alberta Hydrogen Economy Development

The project aims to build an economy out of hydrogen in Alberta by leveraging the province's natural gas, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and engineering strengths to develop low-carbon hydrogen production and infrastructure. It includes recognizing hydrogen in the Canada-Alberta Memorandum of Understanding, refreshing Alberta's hydrogen roadmap with industry input, and aligning incentives to support hydrogen production and demand as part of a broader low-carbon industrial base.
